I am happy to report that I received three distinctions for the Speech New Zealand speech and drama teaching (ASB) theory examinations in May 2010.
This year 75 candidates had 112 exams throughout New Zealand. Of these 62 entries were for Speech and Drama and 41 for Public Speaking. The percentage of Passes with Distinction was 22% for both disciplines. Which means roughly 13-14 exams received the mark of distinction and of those I received three of them.
I will supply my answers for each of the papers, these are by no means models of perfect work. They are simply examples of each credit for each discipline at Associate level. I stress these essays have been posted by me because they have received the grade of distinction in the May 2010 Examinations not because New Zealand Speech asked me to. I hope you find them useful.
Also, I am happy to offer lessons or one on one tuition to students attempting to sit their New Zealand Speech theory credits. Please feel free to contact me at any time to talk about your work.
